Biography:

Mike Lasseter is an internationally exhibited artist and owner of Lasseter Artworks, a home-based, art studio and business.  Selling original paintings through a network of professional connections, gallery representation, juried national and international exhibitions, and direct sales through website, www.lasseterartworks.com.  Artwork includes: impasto paintings, plein-air paintings and component paintings.  Subject matter mostly derived from direct observation of landscapes in North Georgia and Kansas in earlier work.  Conceptually concerned with passage of time, choices, transitions, the subconscious, and the effect of man on our landscape.  Selected into numerous international and national juried exhibitions. 
The Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, New York City, held the Chelsea Global Showcase, where Mike Lasseter was selected as one of the world's 30 "most promising and influential artists".
